Tanis is a behavioural researcher and exercise physiologist with decades of experience dedicated to enhancing women's wellbeing. With a passion for using yoga and fitness as tools for mind-body wellbeing, Dr. Farish empowers women to connect with themselves during life’s transitions, particularly menopause as she navigates it herself.
Her professional journey intertwines science, mindfulness and movement, revealing how physical activity can foster not only strength but also profound mental resilience.
Starting her career in training special operations in the military, she now lectures on health promotion topics, and is a behavioural scientist with Lululemon.
Dr. Farish’s immersion in lifestyle medicine and behavioural insights provides the evidence that movement plays a pivotal role during menopause and into active aging. Her intention in sharing the power of movement is to leave those she interacts with inspired to envision a compelling health journey.
